Not only do we have 2 CNC Wire Erosion machines but we have invested in the latest Bridgeport CNC Vertical Machining Centre .
With an increasing demand for metal parts to have 3-Dimensional shapes, especially in automotive and electronic work, we took the step to invest in this machine.
We have now invested in a Renishaw touch probe, this offers us faster and more accurate setting as well as the ability to check jobs on the machine. This has been coupled with a laser tool height system also from Renishaw which gives us extremely accurate settings between varying tools offering superior finishes and faster turn arounds.
The machine is modified to incorporate a 40000 rpm high speed spindle as well as being able to act as a conventional machining centre. We can produce true 3D Punches and Dies, even for prototype parts, using cutters less than 0.5mm Diameter, to form small contact dimples and other features. Supported by our CAD department, the machine is coupled with the latest in CAD/CAM software so we are able to produce tooling direct from your 3D File.

Pictured above to the left is the Faemat high speed spindle which our machine has been customised with to enable us to produce micro-sized 3D tooling.
